In 1990, a small group of volunteers banded together with hopes of making a difference. What started as a Sunday afternoon social car rally to something a little bigger, more impactful, and with a charitable component we began our Annual Car Rally. Last year, we moved from Make-A-Wish to two smaller, very deserving charities that felt right and got us back to our grass roots. The monies we raised were shared equally with Shine Foundation Charitable # 12995 4822 RR0001 and the Jennifer Ashleigh Children’s Charity Charitable # 13942 3875 RR0001.
Over the past 34 years, the rally has grown from participation in the low twenties to well over 300 people! In 2022, our 32nd year of the event, we reached our accumulative goal of raising $1,003,020. A huge challenge, but with our faithful friends, sponsors, and our volunteers, we continue to work towards our second million dollar goal.
The Annual Car Rally is an overnight event including dinner, dance, silent auction, raffles and that has included a hot buffet breakfast on Sunday morning. We all share in the excitement, the fun, the team spirit, and the goal to see who will be crowned the Competitive and Recreational Trophy Winners with a year of bragging rights. Are you up to the challenge?
